Book #14 in 2005
Finished: 7/07
Title: Getting Over Jack Wagner
Author: Elise Juska
Genre: Chick Lit
Format: Trade Paperback
Pages: 286
My Rating: 3/5

The story itself was pretty good, lots of great references from 80's & 90's TV and music. The reason I gave this a 3 star rating is because I was annoyed with parts of the book and the way it was written.

Eliza, a 26 year old single woman living in PA, who is in search of the perfect rock star and love of her life.

It all started when she was 10 years old and was infatuation with Jack Wagner (General Hospitals rock star who played Frisco Jones in the 80's).

Around that time her father took off to CA leaving her mother alone to raise Eliza and her sister Camilla. Eliza tying her best to stay away from her broken home and depressed mother started a rock star club at her best friend Hannah's' house which set in motion Eliza's quest for love. From there she dates all musicians starting with a rebel who performed in their high school talent show and onto a guy in the band etc.... No matter who they were or how hard she fell there was always something small that brought her relationships to a halt.

Will she ever find her perfect rock star??
