Finished: 6/29
Title: Ruff Way To Go
Author: Leslie O'Kane
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Format: Hardcover
Pages: 230
My Rating: 4/5

This was a very good story...The author is a wonderful writer, but I enjoyed the first one much better..

This story started a short time after the first one ended. Melanie, the little girl across the street called Allida over to see the new puppies, they were fostering a husky and her 5 pups until they were old enough to be weaned off the mothers milk. The Mother dog belonged to a man who was in jail but would soon be released and wanted his dog back.

Edith and Trevor lived next door to Melanie and were in the process of a divorce and approached Allida asking for help in deciding who should get custody of their little terrier Shogun.

Not too long into the story Cassandra, the mother of 5 year old Melanie was found murdered in Edith and Trevors backyard. She was found by Allida after getting a note from Edith saying that her and Shogun would be in her yard waiting for her to discuss the custody issue.

So once again Allida is on the hunt for a murderer!!
