My Comments:
This book was So much fun!! I loved the way it made you feel like you really knew Lucy Stone and could be a part of her family. And the mystery was very well written.

My Comments:
This was a fun book! Since I'm a soap opera fan (GH & ATWT) I really enjoyed reading about a soap opera writer. I gave it a 3 star rating only because I figured out the "killer" long before I should have been able to... and I thought parts were a little too drawn out, but all in all it was a good story.

As always I enjoyed this Aunt Dimity book and I'm really looking forward to reading more!!

I enjoyed the story, but won't be rushing to read them all in a hurry.
I found it very interesting having the setting in Scotland and the descriptions about their surroundings. I also found it interesting to read about fly-fishing, which is something I've never done.

I enjoyed reading these short stories.. Especially the one from her "Undead" series..
However I feel I must send out a warning! In my opinion the first half of this book should be considered Erotica. ;)

I really enjoy the story, but still not so thrilled with the characters attitude towards many things... which is why I gave this a 3 star rating.
I am going to take a break from this series for a while.

The mystery in this one was GREAT! Totally took me by surprise....
BUT I still didn't like the comments that were made about the same subjects mentioned previously. It just seems so rude and I'm taking more and more offense to it which is why I gave it 3 instead of a 4 that it really deserves.

I gave this book a 3 rating for a couple of reasons... And the 3 is being generous but here goes:

first I guessed who dunnit pretty much from the get go.. this wouldn't have bother me too much except for my other reasons for disliking the book:

her dislike for animals (dogs in particular) and her comments on being overweight. These things just seemed extremely rude to me, or maybe I'm being overly sensitive.

However, I did really enjoy the mystery and style of writing besides those points.. I haven't abandoned the series totally.. I know a lot of people have gave it good reviews :)

My Comments:
As you can probably tell from my rating I really enjoyed this book... So far it's my favorite of the series.
This book took place away from the normal setting of Betsy's Excelsior, MN needlework shop.. And brought us to a stitch-in at a place called Naniboujou Lodge and what a perfect setting it turned out to be! There was some history told about Naniboujou and when I googled it I found out it is infact a real place! You can see it here: http://www.naniboujou.com/

I really enjoyed the descriptions of the lodge especially that of an eagle flying around which was so vivid you could really picture the scenes in your mind.

I already started the next book even though I was in the middle of others! A friend of mine sent me a copy of A Murderous Yarn and after enjoying this one so much I just couldn't stop myself from picking it up!

My Comments:
OK the description above doesn't even begin to cover this story! There was so much more then just the mystery of who killed Vickie..
Kelly is also inheriting a ranch and the descriptions (and fun) that took place there were written in such a way that you could just picture the cattle, sheep and alpaca roaming around.. And of course there is all that knitting fun! The way the author describes the colors and textures of the yarns still has me dying to "fall down that rabbit hole" into the yarn & knitting wonderland too!

The series is really amazing and gives you a great feeling of sitting down with a group of friends every time you pick up the book.. At first I was thinking that there were way too many characters, but getting into this second book I just don't see how we'd get that feeling of being surrounded by friends without them all! Sure the story could be told with probably half the characters, but it just wouldnt be the same, and I have to say I'm pretty sorry I said that in my first review!!
Can't wait to get to Deadly Yarn!

My Comments:
I didn't really enjoy this book so much, every chapter (and sometimes more then one in each chapter) was a different lead character and some flashback chapters. It was really confusing and the outcome just wasn't wasn't worth it all to me. So I'll let the publisher description say the rest for me..

My Comments:
I'm really enjoying this series!!.. Now that I've read all the full length books I'm going to have to wait till the next release for more LOL think I can hold out that long? Good thing there are a couple of short stories that I didn't realize I missed! That ought to tide me over lol
One is in "Dead and Loving It" which I'm going to get soon. The other I believe is in "Bite!" which has stories from a couple of other authors as well, one of which is Laurell K. Hamilton and I haven't gotten to that series yet!

My Comments:
This was my first book by this author and I was very pleased!! The only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars was that I felt parts were dragged on a little bit too long. But other then that this book was really amazing!

I loved the history and descriptions that went into the story. It had me searching online for a Native American Legend of the White Buffalo Woman. And of course reading about how New Orleans was before Hurrican Katrina gave me more of a sense of loss for everyone who had to suffer through such a horrible time.

But on a good note, I loved the twists and turns in the mystery and will be looking forward to reading more from Heather Graham (also known as Shannon Drake) soon.

I really loved how this book ended and I can not wait to read the next in the series!! I'm still annoyed with the whole back and forth Mike/Norman relationship that just to me seems unrealistic, but I still really love the series and all the baking makes me hungry lol
Joanne Fluke really does a great job with the likable characters and great mysteries :)

I enjoyed this book, but I wished it was longer.. The recipes all looked great though :)
It was nice to see all the recipes that were mentioned in their cookbook in the story.
The thing I liked most about book is that it was different from the others in the series... the mystery took place all in one building.. from the crime to being solved the whole town was stuck at the party in the snow storm :)

My Comments:
I really enjoyed this book, loved the way the yarns in the store and what Kelly was knitting was described. It was all so real that it has made me want to go out and get some yarn and learn to knit too!
The story was good, but in my opinion there were too many characters. Maybe once we get into the next book in the series we will see more development with those characters and see what happens with the relationship of Kelly and Steve. I'm assuming that Kelly stays in the town, and I wonder what will happen with the Shop. Looking forward to the next mystery :)

My Comments:
A few months ago I saw (and loved) an ABC Family channel movie called Hello Sister, Good-bye Life and noticed in the credits that the movie was based on this book, so of course I had to read it! And I'm glad I did... I really enjoyed it, though it was different from the movie (which is usually the case with books and movies anyway) I didn't tend to favor one over the other which is what always seems to happen.
