Book #4 in 2006
Finished: 02/04
Title: A Stitch In Time
Author: Monica Ferris
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Format: Paperback
Pages: 245
My Rating: 3/5

Although I really enjoyed reading about the characters again, and still look forward to reading more of this series I do know now why I had such a hard time finding this book in the libraries. To someone who is very religious they might find this book offensive.. and even though I am not the extreme religious type I do have respect for those that are and was also a little thrown off by the outcome of this story. I will not say what it was and spoil it for anyone choosing to read it...only that if you are religious maybe you should avoid this book in the series.

In this story Betsy finds herself involved in restoring a tapestry that was found in the church and discovers symbols hidden in the piece and decides to look into what they mean, never imagining that the symbols could lead her to be a target for murder.

  1. Even though I am definitely the "religious type", this book still sounds intriguing...I might look into it further.

  2. Hi Chas, It's a very good series for those of us who love needlework and mysteries! It was a good book, just didn't think it was very respectful in the end. By the way.. I've been keeping up with my stitching Blog more now! ;)
    Hugs!
