Book 3 in the Charlie Plato mystery series


Charlie is part owner of Chaps (a country music bar) in CA along with famous TV star Zack Hunter and 2 other friends Angel and Savannah.

After helping solve the last 2 murders around her town and getting herself in a bit of hot water she gets a group together for lessons in self-defense. After the class Charlie strikes up a conversation with Estrella, one of the women in the class about the bruises on the her wrist... the woman claims her husband abuses her. Then later Charlie is called to the scene of the crime when Estrella is found murdered with Charlie's buisness card in her pocket.. So it doesn't take long before she starts her own search to find out what happned to Estrella.

I really enjoy this series... I can just hear the country twang in Zacks voice while reading! I can't wait to read the next one in the series.
